Preventive DentistryWe offer checkups at our office for all ages, including cleaning, X-rays, and periodontal assessment. We also offer oral hygiene training to geriatric patients, their families and care givers.

Restorative and aesthetic dentistry

We of course work with patients who need fillings and other restorations, including crowns and bridges, partial and complete dentures, anterior porcelain veneers. Read on for more details:

Preventive DentistryA crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They restore a tooth to its original or desired shape, size, color and functionality, and can be made of different materials including gold, porcelain, dental ceramics, or any combination. Crowns are often used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth, while at the same time they are inarguably beneficial to the overall dental health.

Dental implants and Prosthodontic dentistry

Our team is academically trained to place and restore all our patients dental implants needs, which is great for our patients because they’ve got “one-stop shopping” across their dental needs.

A dental implant supports restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth. Virtually all dental implants placed today appear similar to an actual tooth and root which promotes a natural, confident smile.

Bridges/Fixed Partial Dentures

Bridges, Fixed Partial DenturesIn addition to dental implants, our team works with patients to create comfortable, natural-looking dentures. We can create partial dentures, bridges, or full dentures, depending on our patients’ needs. We also offer same-day denture repairs, regardless of where the patient had the original denture work done.

Endodontic Therapy/Root Canal Treatment

Endodontic therapy is a sequence of treatment to eliminate infection and protect the treated tooth from future microbial invasion. This very common set of procedures is commonly referred to as a “root canal,” because the tooth’s root canals and its associated pulp chamber are the physical hollows within a tooth that are naturally inhabited by nerve tissue, blood vessels and other cellular entities, but it is this space that can sometimes get infected. Endodontic therapy decontaminates these hollows to protect the tooth and the overall dental health from further infection.

Extractions, including Wisdom Teeth removal

A dental extraction (also referred to as exodontia) refers to painless removal of tooth or tooth roots with minimum trauma to the surrounding tissues so that the extraction socket wound heals uneventfully without any post-operative complications. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons. Extractions of impacted teeth, or problematic wisdom teeth are routinely performed, as are extractions to make space for orthodontic treatment.

Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ, TMJD) management

Temporomandibular joint disorder, (TMJ or TMJD) describes acute or chronic pain, especially in the jaw muscles and/or inflammation of the temporomandibular joint. The disorder and resultant dysfunction can result in significant pain for the patient, which is the most common TMD symptom, combined with impairment of function. Although the disorder transcends the boundaries between several health-care disciplines, in particular, dentistry and neurology, our team has experience treating TMJ, and working with patients to develop a variety of successful treatment approaches.

With our team care, your smiles are assured!
